RMU Athletics announced on July 29, 2021 it has partnered with INFLCR and a collaboration with university partners, led by the RMU School of Business, to launch the FORMULA, a comprehensive development program that equips RMU student-athletes with the tools and resources to prepare and succeed in the new era of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

The FORMULA is designed to educate and support student-athletes as they pursue opportunities to develop their personal and professional brand, understand the financial and legal implications of opportunities, and build entrepreneurial skills to capitalize on NIL.

The partnership between RMU Athletics and INFLCR will provide student-athletes with a comprehensive suite of services through a digital platform and mobile app that provides tools for education and reporting on NIL activity, as well as a platform that will help student-athletes to identify verified NIL opportunities on their own.

Education will be provided through INFLCR’s Storyteller Playbook, an in-app learning system with content featuring well-known athletes and industry professionals.

Additionally the platform will serve as the main hub for tracking and monitoring student-athlete activities as they leverage opportunities provided through the INFLCR Compliance Exchange, empowering student-athletes with the knowledge and tools to connect with trusted partners to capitalize on their name, image, and likeness.

Through a collaboration with a growing list of university partners, led by the RMU School of Business, the FORMULA will also leverage experts from a number of disciplines to identify opportunities to help guide student-athletes in the complex and ever-changing NIL environment, through live workshops and hands-on learning opportunities.
